The Fortis Spacematic is the best deal to get a Fortis watch if you are a beginner looking for a pleasant mechanical watch from a famous and old Swiss watchmanufacturer.
As the name Spacematic suggests, this watch is part of the Cosmonautis collection at Fortis. In 1962 the Spacematic automatic was constructed to hold up in extreme conditions and temperature changes.
SPACEMATIC is a symbol of the long watchmaking history of FORTIS. It is one of the signature products born in collaboration with the Russian Space Agency ROSCOSMOS.
There are two new Spacematics, one in stainless steel PVD coated and one in stainless steel.

There are plenty of choices in terms of straps. I loved the natostrap on the steel Spacematic, right up my taste. The design is classy, timeless and the watch wears very comfy on the wrist. The pictures give an impression and comparison of the two watches.

I think the perfect combination for me would be the beige natostrap on the stealth Spacematic.
