The upcoming Hongkong auction at Antiquorum is bringing up some interesting vintage watches such as this BREITLING REF.1809 COSMONAUTE CHRONO-MATIC in STEEL which was made in the 1970’s. This watch has an automatic movement Caliber 14. The case is pretty large, about 49mm and quite high, about 15mm. The interesting thing about this watch is the 24 hour time scale on the dial. I have seen this with Guinand (vintage and retro revival) in the past. It is an interesting feature which distinguishes this watch from your regular timepiece.
