This contribution summarizes the second part of my visit in Vienna at the Breguet Boutique in the center of Vienna on the Kohlmarkt. On my second day, I had the opportunity to take videos in the Breguet Boutique of some exceptional timepieces with interesting complications without getting interrupted or disturbed. I would like to share the videos with you over here.
In my perception, and I assume that most watchenthusiasts and bloggers tend to concurr, Breguet has been quite silent in terms of marketing. What we found out and what surprised all of us more or less equally, was how rich the history of Breguet is which I described in my first blogpost some days ago.
So let me start with the “simplest” complication, a watch with an alarmfunction, oftentimes called reveil (the french word). Reference 5707 Le Reveil Du Tsar:
Second, let’s have a look at an amazing minute repeater that also features a full perpetual calendar, reference 5447. This watch is made in two materials: 18k whitegold and rosegold.
Third, there are two musical timepieces in the current collection of Breguet, reference 7800 Musicale:
On the right side there is an autonomy indicator.
And last but not least, while we were joining the two day visit at Breguet’s boutique, we were each given a Breguet to wear for a full day. In my case, I received the Hora Mundi, a watch with a GMT or two timezone function, but it was not a simple two timezone function. It has some features that I have not seen elsewhere.
