Baselworld is just a month away and approaching fast…
MB&F will be unveiling an entirely new co-creation at the Baselworld fair.
In the meantime, to whet your appetite, here is a pre-Basel announcement for you today: after launch editions in red gold and platinum, followed by two white gold editions, the LEGACY MACHINE PERPETUAL goes TITANIUM – with the blue-green face that has become a signature of our previous Legacy Machines in titanium.
Inside this new case which is limited to just 50 pieces, you’ll find the groundbreaking LM Perpetual movement. Conceived for MB&F by Max Büsser’s friend Stephen McDonnell, his amazingly user-friendly and foolproof caliber eliminates the drawbacks of conventional perpetual calendars. No wonder it took the prize for Best Calendar Watch at the 2016 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
This Perpetual movement has one major difference going on in terms of design and development approach. While perpetual calendar movements in general count down from 31 days a month, this one counts up from 28 days which is the shortest possible month that happens every 4 years.
I am sure that this watch in Titanium will be something for those people who like to wear a heavyweight watch that actuallly does not weight as much as it would in a previous metal.
Retail price is CHF 148,000 + VAT or USD.
