Loading...We know well that Americans go to the whole hog and Mondani Editore, in occasion of two very important shows in the US, wanted to do their way:
a cocktail for presenting the new books Steel Rolex and Total Rolex and an impressive and important presence at the IWJG and Antique Show (two of the most influential watch and jewelry shows in the world).

The IWJG took place at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas on May 27th and 28th and Mondani Editore could show and sell all its most prestigious editions:
from the new Total Rolex and Tudor Anthology, to the “great classics” Collecting Patek Philippe and Nautilus and Collecting modern and vintage Rolex Wristwatches, to the big size books Rolex Daytona Story, Rolex Submariner Story and Collecting Rolex Milgauss, Explorer, T-O-G, Yacht-Master.
Furthermore, we have presented the world’s most important Rolex book ever: STEEL ROLEX. Our Customers just loved it !
Unfortunately, due to the very limited number of copies that we will print ( only 599 worldwide ), we could not accept every reservation. Anyway, I hope we could satisfy many interested people 🙂
We were very happy to share some time and business with the author of the preface of Steel Rolex, Robert Maron: he is not only one of the world’s most powerful Rolex and Patek dealers, but also a famous movie and tv show producer.
There was a huge interest for the new Rolex Book Total Rolex, which at the moment represents the most complete and updated edition on modern and vintage Rolex watches, as well as for Tudor Anthology, the new and only book about Tudor.
Also Osvaldo Patrizzi, author of many of our books and one of the most important names in the horological field, was supporting us and I have to say that our customers really loved his Rolex Daytona Story !
The best moment of this show was the cocktail that took place at the Tropicana on May 27th; we organized it for IWJG members, in order to present our new books.
During the event we had the possibility to meet many people and we could introduce all our products, explaining the huge work there is behind the release of every single edition.
IWJG Members could enjoy good food and cocktails, after and long working day.

After the IWJG, we could attend the Antique Show ( unfortunately only for one day, since we had to fly back to Italy) and we have shared the Booth with Robert Maron, who supported us for promoting Steel Rolex.
Being in Las Vegas, we found some time for relaxing, shopping and enjoying good food !
We visited the “Pawn Star” Shop, protagonist of the American reality television series “Pawn Stars”, where the four leading characters buy vintage and collectable pieces to sell in their store.
Clearly there were many Rolex watches for sale :):)
We had dinner at the B&B Restaurant at the Venetian: the Joe Bastianich ( one of the judges of the tv shows Masterchef USA and Masterchef Italia) and Mario Batali (a very famous italian chef, working in USA).
We also had dinner at the Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse at the Paris Casino. Chef Ramsay is another judge of Masterchef USA as well as a Rolex collector.
We could enjoy the impressive and amusing casinos, typical of the crazy city of Las Vegas:
