Now, new models featuring timelessly beautiful dials and colourful straps offer even greater inspirational variety.
But there’s more, of course: the Saxon manufactory has underscored the unmistakable character of the Pavonina with two new online services: a strap configurator and an engraving service now make it possible to create a truly unique, feminine timekeeper.
With these two exclusive online offers the exceptional Pavonina ladies’ watches are now transformed into one-of-a-kind timepieces: Women – and men looking for this one distinctive gift – can take advantage of the new services, available on the watchmaker’s website, to lend the Pavonina a very personal touch.
Multi-faceted: The strap configurator
The newly launched Glashütte Original watch strap configurator via http://configurator.glashuette-original.com/de/ presents the Pavonina’s infinitely rich panoply of facets. Whether users are discovering this line for the first time, or simply wish to acquire a new strap for a model they already own, they can easily review the entire spectrum of Pavonina case, dial and more than 20 different strap versions and create their own individual combination.
The Pavonina’s sophisticated quick-change system makes it possible to change straps easily, to match a favourite outfit, for example.
Personal: The engraving service
The polished case back offers plenty of space for personal dedications and one decorative motif. Interested owners may choose from a great variety of designs and decorative elements at http://engraving.glashuette-original.com/de to create their desired engraving.
A partner’s initials, the date of a special day, heartfelt congratulations or an affectionate dedication: the selection of texts to be engraved in six possible fonts leaves nothing to be desired. Finely drawn pictures round out the offer with star signs, emotional motifs or refined floral arrangements. With just a few mouse clicks users can determine the configuration and size of up to four different decorative elements (three text elements and one picture motif). It is even possible to order a personal engraving designed entirely by the owner.
On request, the design blueprint is sent to the owner by email. This information and the accompanying registration number are all that is required to order the engraving directly from Glashütte Original Customer Service, from one of the Glashütte Original Boutiques, or from an official dealer or service partner; one may also choose, of course, to order the engraving together with a new watch.
Feminine: The Pavonina
The great variety of Pavonina models spans the spectrum from timeless understatement to luxurious glamour. The unmistakable cushion shape of the case, inspired by designs from the “Roaring Twenties”, is common to all Pavonina watches.
Since March 2017 new models complement this successful line, enriching it with new dial versions and colourful straps in trendy colours – taupe, rose, golden beige, red, anthracite, turquoise, pink, orange or dark blue. The dials of all models are the product of elaborate hand-crafting at our in-house dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany.
Innovative and ambitious at once, the heart of the Pavonina is the 03-02 quartz movement, developed internally by the manufactory. The highly sensitive mechanism is triply protected against magnetic fields and the influence of modern electronic devices. The plate is decorated with the characteristic Glashütte stripe finish, and the engraved logo is set off in gold against the silver plate.
