News: Vault V1+ CTi – first watch with Carbon Titanium composit case

This is the newest Vault V1+ CTi. C stands for Carbon, T for Titanium. The case is a composit of both. And most likely this is the only watch with this kind of composit case. At the least first one I heard of.

Vault Swiss is a small Swiss watchmaker. Their watches have a unique design and work in a way we have never seen before. Mark Schwarz had the idea of this design and the way time is shown. No second watch shows the time in the same way which makes every Vault V1 timepiece unique.

Key facts about this timepiece:

  • machining the case takes 32 straight hours
  • the whole watch weighs only 51 grams
  • RED SUPER LUMINOVA
  • it took 158 days FROM INCEPTION 2 COMPLETION

MOVEMENT

+ V01 automatic movement (exclusively made for VAULT by Uhrteil AG)
+ Inertia regulated balance wheel
+ Power reserve: ca. 50 hours
+ Frequency: 21`600 vph
+ Rhodium plated brushed and pearl blasted skeleton rotor
+ Pearl blasted rhodium plated baseplate
+ Black rhodium plated brushed and bevelled bridges

CASE

+ 5-part case
+ Unique VAULT CTi carbon titanium composite
+ 39mm Width
+ 46.7mm Length
+ 15mm Thickness
+ Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating
+ Open case back featuring a bespoke red Super-LumiNova print
+ Titanium screws with signature VAULT screw head profile

+ Pearl blasted titanium mono-cage II

This watch is something different.  It is nothing like you have seen.  The whole movement “moves” and timeindication of the same time never ever looks the same.  It is a masterpiece of its own.
