News: When L’Epée 1839 meets Van Gogh in Hong Kong

Classics are enhanced with the flow of time. The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam is having an unprecedented collaboration with the manufacture L’Epée 1839, enabling some of Van Gogh’s masterpieces and L’Epée’s collection to dovetail seamlessly, creating a limited collection set of “Van Gogh ‧ The Moments Recaptured”. With this unique set of creations, time is filled with Van Gogh’s colors, displaying his intense passion for life and art.

As for Van Gogh’s most well-known masterpiece “Sunflowers”(1889), L’Epée chooses to adapt its most classic Carriage Clock with a 3D painting dial representing the masterpiece.

The exhibition will make its full debut at
Gallery by the Harbour from 6th May, 2016 to 29th May, 2016,
alongside the RELIEVO™ Collection, approved and endorsed by the curators of the Van Gogh Museum, which comprises premium three-dimensional reproductions of Van Gogh’s most celebrated masterpieces. Van Gogh Art de Sweets, the first Van Gogh F&B brand in the world, will also make its debut in Hong Kong during the exhibition. Visitors can assimilate into Van Gogh’s world, savouring the timeless enchantment of Van Gogh’s artwork.

Each collection is available in limited editions,
for connoisseurs to treasure and own their times with Van Gogh.

L’Epée’s timepieces are reinterpreted
with timeless Van Gogh’s masterpieces.

La Tour Noire collection will be fitted with Van Gogh’s famous works “Field with irises near Arles”(1888) and “the Langlois Bridge at Arles with Women Washing”(1888).

“The Harvest”(1888), the one painting Van Gogh considered to be his most successful one is mounted at the top of the glass dome of Le Duel, “The Harvest” parades the timeless, legendary colors to our everyday lives. “The Harvest” crossing with Le Duel collection is truly a perfect match.
