Omega Seamaster Chronograph Ref. 145.0029 “Paul Newman”

Omega Seamaster Chronograph Ref. 145.0029 “Paul Newman”

This Omega Seamaster Chronograph with the shiny blue dial and white round surrounding tachymeter is a rare example of a mint only worn for a couple hours timepiece from the 1970s.  I have never seen such a perfect piece of this chronograph.

While this watch reached a record high price at the Omegamania auction in 2007 as a worn timepiece on a leatherstrap with paperwork, but without the original steel bracelet, this one comes with all paperwork and original bill and box, and the original steel bracelet still has the protective plastic covering on the clasp.  The bracelet has no stretch.

In addition, this watch is complemented by an unpolished case. Just amazing to see something like this and I had to take plenty of photos of this piece of art from the early 1970s.

And a couple macro shots…
