Description

Kevin Pedral contacted us about 6 months ago and we started talking about watches and building a watchbrand.  Along the way, I revealed some of my art to him which inspired him to create some cool renders the same day.  From there, everything is now history and we are presenting our first 5 artist dials.

We are calling this watch “Driving home”.

Do you know this feeling when you are sitting in your car after a long day and getting ready to drive
home? Which road should you take today? Go straight or turn left or right, take the highway or
take a regular road? In the 1990s, navigation systems were not prevalent (My earliest navigation
system was on my laptop, it crashed all the time and I could not connect it to the internet).

So I had to make „choices“, „decisions“. Which road will get me home the fastest? Least traffic?
So that was my inspiration for this rather simple painting using acrylic colors on paper and crafting
it using a spatula. While it looks quite simple, it took me many tries as initially, the colors would
always overflow and disrupt my painting. So we do not only learn about how to get home the
fastest, but how to deal with the simple challenge to distribute the colors evenly.
