Loading...I just found out the incredibly sad news two days ago. Daniel, the man behind Nord Zeitmaschine, passed away on September 20th, 2020, after fighting a severe illness for several months.
I have visited him in his workshop and met him quite a few times. He was a wonderful person, a man with a lot of passion and love for watchmaking, a great conversationalist and an ingenious watchmaker and toolmaker as he would make most of his tools himself as well.
His watches are absolutely unique, he approached them from an engineering point and you could watch how everything in the watch from the front view is moving. Very unusual, very unique.
I am left in sadness and shock. He was not yet 50 years old, way to young. May his memory stay in our hearts. RIP Daniel.
His watches would deserve someone to continue his legacy.
