Universal Geneve Tri-Compax vintage chronograph

Universal Geneve Tri-Compax vintage chronograph

The Universal Geneve Tri-Compax belongs to one of the most beautiful chronograph timepieces I know of. Made in the 40s, this design is timeless. I’d call it a timeless timepiece.

Universal Geneve (I will call them UG going forward) is a watchcompany who unfortunately ceased production in 1989.

However, in 1989 they were acquired by an investment Company.

In the 1930s up to the 70s, they were known to make some of the most beautiful chronograph watches. Even later, they still made some excellent chronographs. For those interested to read more about UG, there is a book by P.G. Sala which pretty much Shows every Universal Geneve timepiece made up to the 1970s. An excellent book which I can get you.

UG is making watches again nowadays
