It doesn’t get any rarer than a unique piece.  This watch is dedicated to Walter Lange who passed away last year.  He relaunched A. Lange & Söhne in 1990 after the wall fell between Eastern and Western Germany to unite the two Germanys.  He returned to Glashütte in December of 1990 and rebuilt the company together with Günter Blümlein, founder of LMH group. Later, A. Lange & Söhne was acquired by Richemont in 2000.

Phillips is auctioning this watch for a very good purpose to help children that are in need:

The auction will take place at the Hôtel La Réserve outside Geneva on Mai 13th, 2018.  The estimate starts at around 200.000 Euros.
The proceeds of this watch will go to the „Children Action„.
