Few Friends have been as supportive to MB&F as the Seddiqi family in Dubai. Back in 2005, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons was one of just six core retailers that supported Maximilian Büsser’s vision of a creative horological laboratory; and the Seddiqi family’s support has not stopped there, since they just opened an MB&F M.A.D.Gallery in Dubai – our third gallery, after Geneva and Taipei.
This very limited edition of 13 pieces is available exclusively at the M.A.D.Gallery in Dubai. It is instantly recognisable thanks to its striking green face, a world first in CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition).
If you look a bit closer, you’ll see another distinguishing feature: the Arabic-Hindi numerals on the home time dial. And if you look even closer, you might notice the “Titanium” engraving on the case – yes, this is the first-ever Legacy Machine in Ti-6Al-4V (grade 5) titanium.
Besides those special elements, the LM1 M.A.D. Dubai retains everything which has made LM1 a success: the central “flying” balance wheel, completely independent dual time zones, the unique vertical power reserve indicator… and of course, the superlatively finished movement – a tribute to traditional watchmaking, conceived by acclaimed watchmakers Jean-François Mojon and Kari Voutilainen.
