Antiquorum fine watch auction in Hongkong starting tomorrow

The Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces auction is opening its doors at the Mandarin Oriental in Hongkong tomorrow, October 19th, 2012.

Many interesting pieces will come to auction including paraphernalia from Patek Philippe and Rolex and other watchmanufactures.

Well, for the last day before the auction, I would like to show some of the most desireable Patek Philippe timepieces which will be auctioned off in Hongkong.

These references belong to some of the rarest watches.

First let’s start with this PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 5150G T150 RETAILED BY TIFFANY & CO., Genève, retailed by Tiffany & Co., T150, No. 3235292, case No. 4171773, Ref. 5150G. Made in 2001, sold in 2001. Very fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, 18K white gold wristwatch with semi-instantaneous digital triple date, annual calendar, moon phases, 48-hour autonomy and an 18K white gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box, outer Tiffany box, commemorative medal, instruction booklet and Certificate of Origin.

Second, this is a timepiece from the Patek Philippe Advanced Research center.

This PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 5350R ADVANCED RESEARCH, Genève, No. 3686031, case No. 4375165, Ref. 5350R. Made in a special edition of 300 pieces in 2007, sold on October 16th, 2007. Very fine, rare and innovative, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, sealed, 18K pink gold wristwatch with annual calendar, power reserve indication, moon phases, silicon escape wheel, Silinvar Spiromax balance spring and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Accompanied by the certificate of origin, booklets, service box, hang tag and push pin.

As you can see, this timepiece is still sealed which happens rarely.

Third, and last but not least, another timepiece from the Patek Philippe Advanced Research:

This PATEK PHILIPPE, REF. 5450P ANNUAL CALENDAR WITH PULSOMAXESCAPEMENT made in Genève at the Patek Philippe Advanced Research, Pulsomax Escapement.  The Pulsomax Escapement has been described extensively by Ron DeCorte. Serial No. 3900XXX, case No. 4700XXX Ref. 5450P. Made in a limited edition of 300 pieces in 2008. Very fine, rare and innovative, center-seconds, self-winding, water resistant, platinum wristwatch with annual calendar, power reserve indication, moon phases, Pulsomax escapement and a platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, setting pin, and booklet.
