This watch will be auctioned at Bonhams on November 20th, 2012. An interesting piece which was worn in the movie “Star Wars”. While many collectors name this chronograph “Jedi”, I found a site explaining the whole story behind the “Jedi” Omega which may lead to proving that this timepiece may not really be considered a “Jedi”. Continue to read over here, it is well worth it.
For those who do not know Chuck Maddox site, you find it here. He is considered to have been one of the greatest connoisseurs of Omega timepieces and compiled probably the largest archive about vintage and neo vintage Omega watches. He unfortunately passed passed away at a relatively young age.
You find a great article on Chuck’s site about the Omega Darth Vader.
