Former German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer’s Rolex sold for three times the estimate

Former German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer’s Rolex sold today for 142,000 Euros, about three times the estimate of Sothebys.  As I mentioned in two previous blogposts, a yellow gold Rolex Datejust 6305 from the early fifties came under the hammer of Sothebys and was sold in Geneva today.
