New watchbrand: 2LMX

New watchbrand: 2LMX

Just a few days ago I came across this new watchbrand.  Monsieur Arnaud Tellier, a trained watchmaker and restorer of antique timepieces, who has worked as director and curator at the Patek Philippe Museum in the past, has created a very new design and incredibly complicated tourbillon timepiece.

Arnaud wanted to create an exceptional, rare, contemporary, and meaningful watch, as you can see, he truly did.

Take a look at the pictures.  (photos and part of the text posted with explicit permission of 2LMX)

– Each 2lmx watch is entirely created and manufactured in Switzerland, and is hand finished and assembled, requiring over 1,000 hours.
– 2lmx has defined its Charter of Quality, whose criteria are stricter than those generally applied in the Swiss watch industry.
– Each year, a limited series of 5 watches will be produced. Each 2lmx is unique, in terms of its composition.
– Production in 2012 will comprise the following models:
– platinum case, black dial
– platinum case, white dial
– pink gold case, black dial
– pink gold case, white dial
– anthracite titanium case, black dial
– Movement, case and sapphire crystals numbered “unique piece 1/1, serie 2012″.

Take a look at the side of this timepiece:

Details regarding the construction of the movement:
– vertically constructed
