Gallet chronograph with black dial and Valjoux 72 movement                   

This Gallet has a beautiful and original black dial.  Hands may have been relumed along the way.  It still is a stunning watch in a 38mm case.  Gallet was founded in 1466.  Yes you read that right.  The company Gallet & Cie. was registered in 1826. 

The whole history of Gallet is extremely interesting.  I recommend continuing to read about it on Wikipedia. 

This is a company with century old history.  It still produces watches.  And they are still keeping to some of their old designs.
