Loading...A reader of my blog contacted me about his stolen Rolex watch. It is a Datejust 1601, in 18k yellow gold. Unfortunately, as his father passed the watch along to him, the serial number has never been noted and is not known. However, there is one thing that catches the eye:
The caseback has a circular engraving around the round center of the caseback. The engraving says:
“VON G.K. AN T.C.K. – 1982”
Potentially, the caseback is still on the watch. It may have been removed or exchanged, we can only speculate.
