Loading...I just received a Linde Werdelin 3-Timer which I can keep until Monday. So I am trying to make the best use of the time and wear and check the watch out.
My first impressions are all very positive.
The workmanship on the case, the integrated strap, the clasp, the beautiful stamped sunburst dial, are all simply excellent.
There are two things that strike me specifically about this model. It has a GMT function which can be set with the crown. And I really love the stamped dial, it appears like guilloche, and I believe it will be equally beautiful in black. The white dial is strikingly beautiful nevertheless.
The white dial reveals one small weakness which you encounter with most white dialed watches including the Rolex Daytona and others. Readability during the day and especially in sunlight are weak. So personally, I would prefer the black dial version.
The comfort to wear this watch on the wrist is amazing, despite its heft. The watch sits very comfortable, its weight is just right, and the strap wraps around your wrist and closes with the clasp and it just feels as if it were made for my wrist.
