  1. The first Groenefeld One Hertz watch had a construction mistake? The watch would run only when it was not wound, and when it was wound, the balance wheel would not spin? Luckily, this was an easy to fix mistake, and all they needed to do was replace one part.

  1. When a watchmaker is constructing a new movement, is would be better to construct it based on the front (where the dial will be) instead of the back? The reason being that construction mistakes could be avoided that way as the watchmaker and/or designer will immediately realize any mistakes, such as hands turning backwards, or crown setting mistakes, or other possible construction and design mistakes.
  1. The dial on the Parallax is held wth three screws? Usually, a dial is fixated with two copper feet. However, copper feet are soft and kind of weak. Grönefeld therefore decided to use three screws to hold the dial in place, and that is a really safe way to do it.
