Loading...Last year a day before SalonQP in London commenced, I was invited to the “Night Before” event arranged by Andreas Strehler and several other watchmakers including David Brailsford. It was my first time, and we were in a bar that was cramped with a hundred people. All of them either watchmakers or collectors. It was an amazing night.
So I was invited again this time in Basel. While the event in London was not the first event of this kind, this was a first in Basel. The bar where we met was Irrsinnbar. Pictures below give you an impression. We were not as many people as in London. However, the bar was a cool venue, and I met a lot of familiar faces as well as new faces. It was a wonderful evening, and we truly had a great time. Thanks to Michael Horlbeck who asked me to take some pictures, I can share at least those below. I think the success of this event should bring another one next year?
