Loading...This year’s Baselworld had an amazing event for the first time, organized by Roderich and Jonathan and Martin. When they invited me, I had no idea what would happen that night. Let me tell you this. It was fun like no other event at Baselworld. I did not count how many people came, but it must have been way more than 100. I did not realize that the event was so much fun and should have taken photos, but all I had on me was my cellphone. The pictures turned out crap mostly. So really, I can only share this in writing. But if you happen to get invited next time, you gotta come.
I think there were about 15 small watchmakers in the room presenting their timepieces. It was like a wine and food tasting event. Lots of known faces, but just as many unknown faces to me. The atmosphere was just so much fun that I wish I did not have to leave early. But like such fairs go, the next day, you have to be back early.
