Rolex GMT reference 6542 wth tropic brown dial

This is an all original Rolex GMT reference 6542 from the late 1950s with a true tropic brown dial, it is a swiss only radium dial. The bakelite bezel unfortunately cracked at some point and was professionally repaired by my watchmaker who used to work for Rolex. It is a beautiful example of an over 50 year old Rolex. A time long gone. Nice to catch up with the past, isn’t it? Enjoy the pictures shot by my buddy. He used the bit of sun we had today in Germany.
