Watch of the day: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 6265 Sigma Dial

This is a rare Sigma Dial Daytona.  The sigma sign stands at 6 o’clock and signifies that the indices of the watch are made of gold and not of steel.  That means, they cannot corrode.  Sigma dials were only put into these Rolex Daytonas for a short period.  This one is from 1974.
