The 42 mm diameter case takes the shape of previous models, its slender design totally in keeping with today’s taste. The whole assembly portrays contemporary spirit to stunning effect whilst the “falling” horns ensure perfect adjustment of the strap to the wrist.
In its Moon Phase version, the COLOSEO reveals all its class and functionality: the weeks of the year arranged on the dial rim according to the circle of months indicated on the flange can be read elegantly with a crescent-tipped hand, in the opposite direction from the time which is clocked by sword-shaped hour and minute hands.
The middle of the dial is balanced by the date indication at 3 o’clock and the days of the week at 9 o’clock in two counters which are reminiscent of railway time switches. The choice location at 6 o’clock is therefore given over entirely to indicating the moon phases through a delicately-worked aperture.
